Title of the Research Paper: Rural Women Entrepreneurship: Their perspective towards Government Support
Abstract
India is a country of villages, there are more than seven lakhs villages which comprises of 70% of the total population out which half of them are women. Rural women cannot be sidelined when we think about 21st century women and women entrepreneurship. With the passage of time and due to liberalization, privatization and globalization rural women are also exploring the world around them. They want to become independent in life and follow the role models. They set high dreams and aspirations and keep chasing. Women comprises of more than 50% of the total population at world level, national level and state level. The economic contribution of this population cannot be waved away. The economic development of any country is possible only if this women population also equally contribute. Thus today the government has realized the importance promoting women and women entrepreneurship. The government has come up with various measures, schemes, tools, etc to promote women and women entrepreneurship. This research paper will bring out the awareness among women entrepreneurs about the government support and their satisfaction level for the same. The research is based on primary data and secondary data.
