Structural and Optical properties of Surface Plasmon Resonance of CuO Nanoparticles prepered by chemical mothod
Abstract
Copper oxide nanoparticles (NPs) were prepared using by chemical method. properties of as-synthesized nanoparticles were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and The prepared nanoparticles were studied using UV-Vis .A strong fundamental absorption and high absorption coefficients were observed from UV-Vis spectra, based on which the optical parameters. A net blue shift in the fundamental direct gap energy (from 3.9 to 4.2eV), attributed to the quantum confinement effect, is observed in the optical analysis when the particles size decreases.
