Abstract

Power quality difficulties may arise due to the converters of power electronics with non-linear loads by producing currents of harmonics and drawing wattles power from the source. In this paper, an algorithm of BP (Back-propagation)  is operated as a control technique for the three-phase DSTATCOM (distribution static compensator) to eliminate harmonics and its provinces by its nature are load balancing, compensation of reactive power for correction of power factor, and regulation of zero voltage under linear and non-linear loads. The elementary weighted values of and reactive and active power elements are extricated using the BP algorithm, which is utilized to evaluate instance currents. The Controller of an adaptive hysteresis band is focused on switching pulse generation to the DSTATCOM. In this paper, the DSTATCOM with BP algorithm is studied and implemented in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
