Study on Evaluation Model of Crustal Stability in the Middle and Lower Reaches of the Yellow River
Abstract
The crustal stability evaluation is an important part of urban geological safety evaluation. The current evaluation method mainly considers the factors of earthquake activity. And there are some weakness, such as single index system and difficulty in obtaining index parameters, etc. This study focuses on the use of comprehensive geophysical exploration method to detect the basement tectonic morphology and hidden fault activity of the area covered by Quaternary stratum, and study index system including basement tectonic morphology, hidden fault activity, tectonic stress field, the rate of crustal deformation and basic earthquake characteristics, etc. the result are true and objective and can guide the urban planning and construction
