A Novel approach for Securing Dicom Images Using Scrambling, PSO and DWT-SVD Domain Watermarking
Abstract
Transmitting medical images over insecure communication channel requires a technique to provide integrity and privacy. This paper aims at proposing a novel watermarking technique to protect patient data in dicom images. Medical image is embedded with watermark logo by adopting Particle Swarm Optimization for selecting alpha parameter, Arnold image scrambling and descrambling and DWT Schur decomposition for watermark embedding.
