A Critical Survey on RSS-Based Indoor Localization and Wireless Sensor Network

Abstract

Currently, the WSNs are utilizing in different types of application areas such as health care, medical military, agriculture etc. In this survey paper, received signal strength (RSS) is a simple and low-cost method of localization in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and is of significant interest in ambient intelligence technologies.Firstly, we constraints on the obstacle in WSNs, various attacks and requirement for the security at different level with their solutions in WSNs. the RSS based localization problem when the transmit power is unknown, is addressed based on the least squared relative error (LSRE) estimationwhich transmit among the SNs in WSNs to improve the energy consumption and security. Along with this, we also compare various existing techniques along with its disadvantages and advantages.
