Abstract

Most fertilizers that are commonly used in agriculture contain the three basic plant nutrients: nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Some fertilizers also contain certain micronutrients such as Sodium Nitrate and other metals. In this paper we present Goal Programming model multi-objective nutrient management problem by defining an optimal fertilizer combination for beetroot plantation in Agriculture. A fixed of data have been used to investigation the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed model. Results of the model indicate that all objectives have been achieved. Also with the fertilizer mixture, the existing cost of fertilizer used for Beetroot can be reduced. With respect to the goal priorities, the planned model is relatively flexible.
