Emotional Intelligence of Teacher Educators in Relation to their Age and Years of Teaching Experiences
Abstract
The study explores the emotional intelligence of teacher educators. The sample of the present study compromises of 200 teacher educators of Madurai and Virudhunagar districts. A self-constructed and validated Emotional Intelligence tool was used for data collection by stratified random sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed by using appropriate statistical technique such as Mean, SD and t- test for successful analysis and interpretation of the data. The result presents that there was no significant difference found in the emotional intelligence of teacher educators with respect to their age and years of teaching experience.
