Abstract

This paper includes seismic analysis RCC building comparing between autoclaved aerated block (AAC) and red brick. The seismic analysis of multi storey building with various cases by equivalent static method and response spectrum method manually. We cannot predict the intensity of earthquake in each seismic zone, because the weight of building is directly proportional to impact of earthquake. So, the seismic behaviour of red brick and AAC block are studied in different zones. The building is analysed in all four seismic zones which are zone II, zone III, zone IV, and zone V. The average intensity of earthquake in different seismic zones are 0.10, 0.16, 0.24, 0.36. The different soil strata also taken to analysis the buildings. The seismic parameter lateral force is also compared. After then, the data is displayed in the form of tables and graphs.
