Abstract

Research paper focused on two warehouse management system of storage and proposed a inventory model considering non-instantaneous deteriorating items under fuzzy environment with assumption that the Average Inventory Holding Cost in a house hired on rental basis having better facilities and higher than those in own warehouse used for business purpose in a busy market. The holding cost and demand rate are taken to be variable and as increasing linear function of time. Due to continuous demand shortages occurred and are completely backordered in the beginning of next replenishment cycle and backordered quantity is supplied to the customer. Corresponding fuzzy inventory model is developed and transportation cost incurred in transporting items from hired warehouse to shop is included in average inventory cost. Numerical example is given to validate proposed inventory model and applicability of model and in case of crisp model sensitivity analysis is performed on selected parameter.
