Abstract

This paper is to develop general encryption algorithms based on the characteristics of the magic square of order seven. Two algorithms were proposed. The first was by using an unspecified number of rounds to the seventh magic square with a block size equal to 14 and 35 of key size. The second algorithm is compound from the RC4 key generator with the magic square of order seven that used an additional 7×7 key matrix, where the fast exponent is used (the magic square is the base and the key matrix is the exponent ). The results were excellent and had a very high complexity, where the complexity in the first algorithm = ((((256))35×((256))14))r+1, and the complexity in the second algorithm = ((((256))35× ((256))14))MK×30, The complexity was also calculated using GF(28), it was also calculated the speed, NIST statistics for the encoded text, and the histogram statistics for the color images before and after they were encoded, where the statics was calculated for each type of the two types of GF.
