Abstract

In this paper, a hand-held module is used to measure the environment parameters: temperature, humidity, pressure and light intensity. The module used is Texas Instruments CC2650 SensorTag. It has an on-chip sensors. It can communicate with the mobile and laptop using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication technology. The real-time data corresponding to the measured parameters are displayed on to smartphone. Also, data are uploaded to the IBM QuickStart Cloud. The application described in the present work can help the farmers to obtain the optimal yield, in home application to maintain optimal room parameters, and in industry to monitor the health of machines and its environment.
