Parameter Optimization of 7-Axis Transmission System Based on MATLAB

Abstract

Taking a 7-axis transmission as the research object according to the structure and design
characteristics of the transmission , the transmission gears are grouped and the mathematical
model of optimization is established which takes losing weight, improving the stability,
reducing the maximum center distance of the input shaft and the out shaft as the target by using
optimization tool box from MatLab, the transmission is optimized by calling GA function, and
good optimization results is achieved and analyzed . The results show that the transmission size
and weight are reduced, the stability of the transmission is improved.
