A Novel Study of Health-Conscious Consumer’s Purchase Behavior Using Machine Learning’s Decision Tree Regression Algorithm
Abstract
We live in a commercialized society, where everything is for sale. As a result, we make decisions based on our needs to maintain our lifestyle. Shopping has become an important part of our daily lives. This is especially true in today's environment when a sedentary lifestyle is causing an increasing number of health problems. While shopping, most people have a strategy in mind that they are following in mission mode. A growing number of people are seeking for businesses and malls that will assist them acquire nutritious products. To assist its health-conscious clients purchase better and buy more, many retail businesses provide varied information about the items they sell. To analyses the purchase patterns of our consumers, we have built a data model. Machine learning techniques such as decision tree regression have been included into the system in an effort to better analyze and anticipate client buying patterns and product choices.
