Abstract

The Vehicles collision prediction is necessary for drivers to save lives and avoid potential accidents. Therefore, this paper suggests an intelligent vehicle prediction communication method that warns drivers of any cars intersecting the intended vehicle in overtaking and bypassing. The main objective of this paper is to use the modern technologies of Internet of Things (IoT) and the wireless sensing to predict any possible accident that might occur resulted from car crashes. The Collision Prediction of Moving Vehicle (CPMV) is our proposed system in this paper. The data received by CPMV will be warn the driver for redirecting the vehicle in an acceptable period of time before any harms could be happened. It redirects the wherever safe and away from the incoming object that transmitted the Ultrasound signal and received by the vehicle. For implementing this work, the python programming language has been used for coding the programs responsible for directing the vehicle. As the controller, the raspberry pi 4 is used to analyze the spatial data of the vehicle. The test results showed that using this application can be an effective method to deal with an approaching object in two scenarios once when two car are interesting and the other when one car behind the other. The proposed system was successful in both scenarios at the testing phase.
