Abstract

Employee dissatisfaction always creates an Impact and effect on Employee performance and also it may create lot of distress to them in all aspects at work spot. Creating healthy work atmosphere and improving performance among employees depends on employee gratification. Dissatisfaction and distress may arise among employees due to wrong policies, lack of workers participation, lack of recognition, failure in individual achievements, lack of scope for career advancement, inability to perform duty, nepotism, and improper supervisor, lack of knowledge, skill, and ability and so on. So it is an responsibility of an organization to provide healthy atmosphere at work spot. Absence of employee displeasure leads for creation of adverse effect in organization. The researcher felt that it is important to do an attempt on identifying employee displeasure and how it creates negative effect on job performance among employees. Therefore the researcher conducted a research at Assosa University when he was a professor in school of business and economics, post graduate studies, Ethiopia. The research questionnaire was prepared and it was circulated among the teachers who are working in that university and they are requested to register their opinion about their work atmosphere and their experience towards their working spot. Only one university selected and samples restricted only to that university. The researcher circulated nearly 150 samples and he was able to collect 75 responses. Some of the people who are working in that university hesitate to register their response due to fear, some of them don’t want to give their opinion. With lot of struggle the filled in questionnaires were collected and those questionnaires used to conclude certain facts connected with the mind of the workforce. Chi square test, Anova and t-test used, cross tab , clusters analysis also used the results given in appropriate manner for the readers usage and for their understanding.
