Abstract

Underwater communication is a major concern till now because of the existence of the peculiar condition result in the mysterious sea bed. There is large number of resources available underwater which is essential for the living must be brought up, but the bizarre condition makes it away from the reach of the humans. However in order to access these resources a strong underwater network should be setup. The underwater sensor network facesnumber ofchallengeswhile deployment, one of them is the localization of the deployed nodes. The global positioning system is not reliable and also attenuation of the radio signals causes much intricacy in detecting of the nodes makes localization a familiar problem allied to underwater sensor network. In order to achieve the steadfast position of the deployed nodes acoustic signals must be used as a communication medium.A solution of the similar problem is discussed in this paper. Here we dealt this issue by using a mathematical formulation for determining the location of the deployed nodes at sea bed. The approach is discussed by usinga scenario of two way communicationwith the frequency allocation for curtailing the excess use of data trafficking underwater. This approach not only dealt with the reduction in the data trafficking but also to reduce the actual power utilization. Further the simulation help in understanding the concept of this formulation.
