Abstract

The primary goal of this research is to examine the elevated water tank and compare the forces imposed on it by earthquakes in different seismic zones. Any civil engineering construction is designed with the intended usage, available materials, cost, and aseptic factors in mind. The forces in both full and empty tank states were included in the analysis of an elevated water tank in impulsive and convective modes, using the code IS 1893 (part 2) 2014.The forces operating on an elevated water tank due to seismic forces are estimated for all zones in this study, as well as the base shear and base moment values, which are compared from zone II to zone V. After then, the data is displayed in the form of tables and graphs.
