Design and Simulation of a Multi-band Antenna with L-I Shaped Slot

Abstract

A multi-band antenna with L-I slotted antenna is designed. Slotted with the L-type and I-type structure, antenna can work in 2.6GHz and 2.0GHz. The simulated -10dB impedance bandwidths are 118MHz (1.9409GHZ-2.0589GHZ) and 139 MHz (2.5317GHZ-2.6711GHZ), covering the 3G communication frequency band of TD-SCDMA and the 4G communication frequency band of China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom. Finally, the performance of the antenna is simulated by using HFSS software.
