Corporate Social Responsibility in India in the Present Scenario
Abstract
The paper focuses on the corporate social responsibility in Indian context and its chronological changes with little variations and the it’s extent of impact in the business image or building/rebuilding brand image with reference to examples in the paper. The objectives of CSR in India are mainly being education, healthcare, and employment, microfinance etc. are mentioned and the various famous companies following them and India being old in CSR activities and the lessons from the global meltdown. Even CSR as a sustainability approach and impacting brand loyalty in the society with differencing its identity with its own line of confrontation actions for CSR in creating trustworthiness in society.
