Abstract

Voltage sag and swell are the most common power quality issues, especially in places where loads are extremely sensitive to voltage variations. There are many power devices introduced to improve these voltage problems. One of these devices is the Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR). It provides a low-cost solution for voltages sags, swells, and harmonics by maintaining the correct voltage level during voltage disturbances to safeguard sensitive loads. In this paper, the performance of DVR to compensation power quality based on (PQ) theory with solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system. Solar PV system designed by a perturb and observe (P&O) maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method. The system performance is analyzed in the MATLAB/Simulink  to reach the result of this paper.
