Abstract

The implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure is easier due to the growth of technology. It has a huge number of applications, which is enriching the socio-economical life of human being. One of the important module of Internet of Things (IoT) is Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), which are the gathering of sensor nodes attached with any object to monitor and control remotely. In WSN sensor nodes generate the data which are collected by the Gatewaynode and send to the cloud for processing. For data transmission and routing to the Gateway node, an Efficient routing method is required, that could able to boost the energy conservation and lifetime of the network. To fulfil this requirement in this paper, anenergy efficient routing method have been proposed. The proposed algorithm is based on the concept of tree topology creation in the network. While proposing the tree based routing algorithm an important factor the data packet delayis also considered. Hence theCrowded Tree basedRouting Algorithm call (CTRA) is proposed. The proposed algorithm is implemented & compared the performance with similar already published routing algorithms.
