Abstract

Currently, Indonesia has three burdens of nutritional problems (triple burden) namely stunting, wasting and obesity as well as micronutrient deficiency such as anemia. This study aims to design a medium of information about nutritional needs and anemia to the behavior of young women. This research uses two methods namely Research and Development (R&D) with Borg and Gall development model and Quasi Experimentation with design using quasi-experiment research design (Pre-Post Test Control Group). This research was conducted in Makassar. Sampling technique is purposive sample with the number of samples 70 young women divided into two, namely application group and conventional printout media. App assessments are conducted using a Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) questionnaire that is useful for assessing user behavior towards the model used from the app. The data was analyzed using the Paired t test. The results of validation tests conducted on 2 experts, namely media expert assessment of 89% and material expert assessment of 76.2% showed that counseling application is very feasible to use. Assessments for user behavior used from applications conducted on small-scale field tests and large-scale field tests using technology acceptance model (TAM) questionnaires showed that applications were very well received by young women. Assessment of the level of knowledge and attitude of young women both intervention group and control group obtained the results of P Value 0.001 but between the two the most influential to knowledge and attitude is the intervention group.
