A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW ON COMPRESSIVE SENSING

Abstract

A technique that allows reconstruction of the signal when the transmitted signal is undergone for the process of sampling at a low rate that is less than the Nyquist rate is called compressive sensing.  In this survey paper, the concept of compressive sensing with some major algorithms is discussed. It is also called compressive sampling or compressed sensing. Compressive sensing is associated with an economical, efficient, simple, maladaptive, precise, and proportionate data compressed acquisition protocol that contributes to sampling and compression. In this paper, we also present compressive sensing wide spread applications in various fields in the present scenario.
