Abstract

This paper presents a technique to improve the quality of service QoS parameters of Optimal Link State Routing Protocol. Optimal Link State Routing Protocol uses Multi-Point Relays to reduce the overhead. Our technique will utilize the concepts of clustering as a means to avoid unwanted delay and overhead by providing less power usage for Multi-Point Relays selection algorithm in Optimal Link State Routing Protocol. The efficiency will be increased by allowing the routing through Optimal Link State Routing Protocol using Hybrid Genetic algorithm for better selection of paths. The simulation is done in the NS3 platform to check the efficiency of our model with existing models.
