Abstract

Adoption of remanufacturing by Original Equipment Manufacturer’s can be accelerated if the potential competitive advantages from transitioning role of end-user of a multiple life cycle product are analyzed. This paper investigates the driving factors for customers of multiple life cycle products through the robust Signal to Noise Ratio approach of Taguchi Design. The instrument is tested for its validity and reliability resulting in prioritized recommendation for each of the three end-user roles. The study establishes the significance of the foundation of offering life cycle solutions. The study attempts to provide insights into parametric design through relevant joint ranking’s system to enhance the application of methodology for further insightful classification of factors.
