REVIEW OF SECURITY ENHANCEMENT IN DATA PROPAGATION FOR WIRELESS NETWORK
Abstract
Wireless networks in businesses and homes are becoming increasingly popular. Most mobile devices now have a brand or carrier-related wireless network. Public hotspots in restaurants, coffee shops and airports are also available. It's easier for us to catch up online with work or friends. However, it can present a security risk no matter how convenient wireless networks are. Data can be stolen and penalties follow. The security of wireless networks can be a concern because the data is sent "over-air." Wireless networks use the same technology as radio transmissions to transmit and receive data. This makes it easy for hackers and thefts, even when password is allowed, to enter your network. This paper examines the different routing protocols and algorithms used by different researchers to increase security and defend wireless networks against attacks or security problems.
