Abstract

The preferred paper gives out an approach for image transmission with security and also performance analysis of encryption techniques used for digital image transmission. LSB (Least Significant Bit) the basic and commonly used insertion method used for digital steganography. The previous approaches in image steganography have proposed methods to enhance the gray-scale (8-bit picture) image steganographic based on an adaptive system using LSB technique. An 80–bits length of stego-key size is applied to the system throughout the embedding process of the data into the cover picture . In order to have a high Protection to the confidential evidence a stego-key is used. This stego key is a private stego key and is a high security key in nature which consists of five gray level ranges of the input cover image. The data bits are implanted flexibly into the cover-picture elements by choice sequentially. In continuation of the process proposed method demonstrates the performance analysis in terms of PSNR, MSE and elapsed time are evaluated of the input images taken. These values are then plotted so as to define the performance parameters which depicts the quality of the embedding confidential information assuring high data invisibility.
