Abstract

Studying the public's evaluation of the ancient city after the transformation and its formation mechanism is of great significance to promote the sustainable development of the ancient city. Taking the ancient city of Zhangzhou as an example, this paper constructs a performance evaluation system from three aspects: the overall public perception, the historical and cultural protection status of the ancient city, the business environment and services, and uses the multi-group structural equation model to comprehensively evaluate the service performance after the transformation of the ancient city of Zhangzhou. And the regulation of multi-group public identity variables. The research results show that the space users including the residents and tourists in the ancient city think that the overall performance of the reconstructed ancient city of Zhangzhou is higher; The physical environment, intangible culture, basic services and consumption services of the ancient city are the main factors influencing the public's performance evaluation of the ancient city, and both significantly positively affect the public's evaluation of the performance of the ancient city; There are some differences in the significance and impact size of different groups, but the positive and negative relationship is consistent with the total sample results. The new findings of this paper not only enrich the related research on the performance evaluation of the ancient city after the transformation of the ancient city, but also provide reference value for the sustainable development of the ancient city.
