Abstract

From the perspective of Chinese cultural history, these diverse and colorful regional cultures and national cultures have formed a close interdependent, complementary and harmonious symbiotic relationship, which is an important part of the profound Chinese culture. In the late Qin Dynasty, the Qin Dynasty constantly launched the conquest of Lingnan, and influenced Lingnan culture with the Central Plains culture. Foreign workers moved to Lingnan area, and the native culture in their memory collided with Lingnan culture. Then, they can only adopt some coping styles to adapt to the new culture. The Lingnan area is close to Nanling in the north and South China Sea in the south. In addition, there are many mountains in Nanling, which makes it a relatively independent physical geographical unit. However, in the long course of historical development, Lingnan indigenous culture has been constantly integrated with the Central Plains culture, Jingchu culture, Bashu culture, Wuyue culture and other regional cultures, and developed into Lingnan culture with their common characteristics. Based on a brief introduction of the basic characteristics of Lingnan culture, this paper discusses the reasons for the formation of Lingnan cultural characteristics from the perspective of geographical environment.
