Research on Personalized English Learning System Based on Digital Language Learning System

Abstract

English learning process is an integrated learning process, including listening, speaking, reading and writing, which are interrelated. How to build a multifunctional and integrated English learning environment to facilitate users to learn English. Personalized recommendation technology and related technologies of mobile devices are elaborated in detail. Combining personalized English learning with digital language learning system, a prototype of personalized English learning system based on digital language learning system is proposed, and the overall architecture of the system is designed. On the basis of judging the difficulty of reading English sentences, this paper analyzes and models the English level of users according to their historical information by using user modeling technology, and designs a ranking model that combines two similarities by combining the similarity measurement between the query terms and documents. The functions of reading vocabulary and listening audition are also introduced into the system. Finally, a multi-functional and personalized English learning environment is constructed for users.
