Abstract

The exponential growth in the Indian population needs more resources to meet the requirements. Approximately 60 percent of electricity is produced by a coal-fired thermal power plant that produces multiple contaminants such as SOx, CO, and particulate matter. Pollution has natural and social consequences. Renewable technology is an option to satisfy energy needs without harming natural resources. It is still possible to produce electricity from locally available content that decreases the energy in the body and ultimately reduces emissions. For India, biogas has a strong potential to provide resources since it uses organic waste along with animal dung to manufacture cooking and transport fuel. Biogas consisting of methane, carbon dioxide, and other trace compounds. Biogas is provided by anaerobic digestion procedure that does not need any outside resources. It has beneficial effects on the atmosphere and on culture as it does not contain any waste. At the end of the day, it provides valuable biogas slurry, that could be used as fertilizer in the field.
