SYSTEMATIC MAINTENANCE OF BLOCK CHAIN ENABLED INTELLIGENT HEALTHCARE MONITORING SCHEME USING INTERNET OF THINGS

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is considered to be the most important medium to establish the communication between local regions to the global environment without any range specifications. All the recent smart devices are inspired due to the efficiency of IoT and the benefit it provides to those applications. The logic of IoT is simple, in which it gathers the information from local entities and passes it to the server unit for maintenance. So, that the burden handled over the local entities are reduced in huge manner as well as the risk factors to maintain the records locally is highly reduced. This paper is intended to design a new Health care monitoring scheme with respect to the adaptation several latest techniques such as Blockchain, RFID enabled Security and Internet of Things principles. Based on these factors the proposed approach is designed according to the needs of healthcare monitoring scheme. A smart gadget called Intelligent Health Survey Kit (IHSK) is designed with the accumulation of several efficient sensors such as body temperature monitoring sensor, blood pressure level estimation sensor, heart rate analyzing sensor, RFID Reader, Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) and Global Positioning System (GPS) modules. These all are integrated together to provide an intellectual support to the proposed IHSK. The accumulation of sensor values are controlled by using the ESP8266 WiFi enabled IoT controller, in which it accumulates the value from specified different sensors and process it based on the threshold levels. The threshold ratio crosses the limit, the GSM module raise an associated alert to the respective patient's attender as well as the doctor to take an appropriate action. This system associates the logic of Blockchain to provide an effective storage skills to the server, in which the data is accumulated from the IHSK is classified based on the age category with respect to date intervals. The specific category are marked under the following blocks such as between below 1, 1 to 10, 11 to 20, 21 to 40, 40 to 60 and 61 and above. Based on these specifications the patient records are clearly accumulated into the storage unit as well as the records can easily be retrieved according to the requirements because of the systematic maintenance. The Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) module is associated with this application to prove the identity of the respective physicians and hospital representatives to do the process of IHSK. This authentication process provides an added security feature to the proposed approach in fine manner. The proposed approach provides a sufficient health care monitoring scheme and the resulting section shows the graphical proof for illustrating the quoted things in clear manner.
