Gain and Efficiency Enhancement of Optimized SIW Antenna for 5G Application

Abstract

Work is being done to create an elemental resonating antenna using the Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) technology for wavelengths of 28 GHz and 38 GHz on the SIW frame structure. Similar to designs in literature and meeting the demands of future wireless technology, it was found that the functional characteristics of this design were suitable. Because of this, it does not generate related signals, it has an unmediated transmission, or irreducible transmission. The calculated results matched the simulation prediction.
