Design and Analysis of Voltage Regulator for a Microgrid for Voltage Regulation and Protection

Abstract

in our analysis we focus on the PV array-based microgrid for power generation, which is connected to the grid for distribution. In the grid section for transmission and distribution, we deploy a voltage regulator which responsible for a good power supply, as well as provided protection to the whole system.This analysis is to support the operational goal and the ethics microgrid. The maintenance of the microgrid is a key issue. Here we try to avoid the electronic regulator for deployment, instated of that we used Overhead Ground Wires (OHGW) logic for, Grid Protection for voltage regulation and relay type protection to provide to the microgrid.
