Abstract

In current scenario security plays a very vital role in the sensor networks which leads the pathway to many security issues. Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are efficiently used in different real-time applications. WSNs suffers with two different types of attackers such as the inside attacker and outside attacker. In this the detection and prevention headed for the inside attackers are very challenging. Because the inside attackers will cherry-pick the data packets to drop or forwarding selectively and some the attackers will drop the entire data packets before reaching its destination. This frightens the clustered wireless sensor networks (CWSNs) and this is due to the unlooked clustered milieus. Therefore, this paper focus on the intra-cluster single hop communication by discovering and preventing the selective forwarding attacks and black hole attack which occurs in the cluster head (CH) and the cluster members (CMs) by implementing the proposed methodologies namedADPCHCM from SFAs and BHA in INtraCSHC. The experimental results prove that proposed methodology efficiently handles the selective forwarding attacks and black hole attack occurs on CH and CMs in intra-cluster single hop communication.
