Review in comparing mechanical properties of naturally obtained Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composite

Due to renewable and environmental concerns, the fabrication of high-performance engineering products obtained from renewable resources which are growing around the world. One of the most widely used material is Fibre-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composite in civil infrastructure because of its high anti-corrosion properties with huge stiffness and strength to weight ratio. Natural Fibers (NF) have received much interest from the science community around the world during the last few years than they ever have before. Compared to Synthetic Fibers (SF), these NF have a variety of benefits. Natural FRP composites are used in a variety of applications, and they are helping to reduce SF composites made of glass fiber, Boron, carbon fiber, and other materials. Due to their non-abrasive properties, light weight, eco-friendly natural, stronger specific strength and composite natural fibers are being used. These are also have economic value which can consume a significant amount of Co2 generated by the environment because which are made of natural plants. Therefore, this paper focus on reviewing the natural FRP composite for the beam to increase the structure of mechanical properties such as flexural, ductile, impact strength for increasing the ductility level. During the rise of excellent strength over the control specimen, the natural-FRP composites are performed as an external reinforcing component. This research work provides significant of economic and environmental advantage for countries to upgrade and preserve the current aging infrastructure. This is the new method of sustaining and improving existing Reinforcement Concrete (RC) systems.
