Abstract

The building industry alone accounts for nearly 35 per cent of energy consumption. Realizing the situation, the need of the day is to follow a sustainable approach to green building design, which is the ultimate solution for reducing the building's energy demand. Not only does overuse of traditional construction materials cause global warming, but it also impacts natural resources. This paper proposed a device architecture of Building Energy Management for building energy saving on demand for smart building energy monitoring. In order to achieve real-time monitoring and control, and maximize the energy saving of intelligent buildings, this has some enlightening in building energy use. The Energy Efficiency Initiative aims to reduce the energy usage of social facilities and other public services. The goal of Energy Efficient Buildings is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by eliminating obstacles to the implementation of public sector energy efficiency investments. The project has two energy simulations. The energy model simulation of the building is the first component of the project. This portion will lead to a potential solution for energy-efficient construction. And the second part is about simulation of solar analysis, which will provide an idea of the PV panels' cost and energy consumption.
