Abstract

The quality of life indicator is considered one of the general indicators of the quality of conditions inside the building in which more time is spent, so that they are built more tightly and isolated from the external environment or are linked together. According to what is known as the science of building ecology, the quality of life refers to the efficiency of the residence and comfort of a person in the internal spaces and their integration with the green nature, according to what is measured by the sum of their psychological and organic responses to the design factors. Here are questions that have not been answered about how the ventilation systems and the adaptation to vacuum and the like negatively affect the local environment and methods that reduce or reduce it, as this requires the integration of many functions and systems in the building. Also, its success requires an integrated design work that can contribute to achieving interior comfort using sustainable design concepts. Thus, the residents of the buildings need flexible and effective tools to further control the environment in the use and activation of the role of green elements and encouragement in the cultivation process, exploiting the spaces in it, and communicating with the external environment, in order to reach the residents' comfort and well-being. The environmental quality of the interior spaces can be improved by enhancing the comfort of the occupants of the building and helping to reduce the occurrence of any environmental problem. It can also reduce energy consumption and play a role in improving the environment and visual visibility.

The research depends on the descriptive approach in analyzing and describing information or examples related to the concept of integrating green elements of spaces and adding proposals in residential buildings. The importance of the research also lies in employing green elements inside residential buildings to achieve quality of life and face climate challenges, as well as achieving low energy consumption strategies compatible with the surrounding environment in hot weather regions. Accordingly, the research discusses defining the concept of green buildings and achieving their standards in residential buildings, which also comes in achieving sustainable development and knowing the importance of green elements and attracting that coexist with the internal environment in a hot climate. The research also analyzes the exploratory questionnaire and develops recommendations and strategies regarding the possibility of their application.
