A New Method of Cultivating Innovation Abilities for Undergraduates

Abstract

At present, under the background of the national implementation of innovation driven development and other major strategies, how to promote the reform and innovation of engineering education, and improve the quality of innovative and entrepreneurial talents training is an important task for colleges and universities. Traditional training courses are hard to keep up with social development due to their staid training methods. In order to further improve students’ innovation and entrepreneurship ability, we propose an innovative training method based on the process of design thinking, and practices the method in some training courses by together with enterprise instructor. Results show that this training framework performs well and students can adapt to current market needs better.
