Experimental Performance Analysis of Cross Flow Fan
Abstract
Experimental investigations were carried out to study effect of geometry on the performance cross flow fans. Three impellers with different blade geometry were tested. The experiment pregame includes performance studies of impellers at different speeds and for each impeller three tongue shapes were tried. Probe measurements at the inlet and exit of the impeller were also carried out for impeller I. The efficiency of Impeller I and Il were found to be higher for tongue II configuration. The performance found to sensitive to the tongue geometry.
