Abstract

E-commerce uses computer, network technology and telecommunication technology to realize the whole business process of electronization, digitalization, networking and commercialization. In e-commerce, visual merchandising is particularly important because of its unique online browsing transaction mode. Scientific and effective visual merchandising can greatly improve the operation level of e-commerce and promote the rapid growth of economic benefits. For a large number of network and information resources, recommendation system is a good carrier, which can provide users with more convenient and personalized services, and flexibly adjust various information services according to different needs of users. This paper will start with the related concepts of visual merchandising, explore the problems of visual merchandising in e-commerce, and give an improved collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm for the key problems such as sparsity and failure to reflect the changes of users' interests in the application of traditional collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm.
