Abstract

Modern tie dyeing art is based on traditional tie dyeing techniques. Through the strict control of sensibility and rationality, it has formed artistic patterns that can not be directly described by pen and ink. Influenced by science and technology and individual aesthetics, modern tie dyeing art retains the traditional tie dyeing art and at the same time brims with modern people's ideal of life, making it rich in diversity and internationalization. Taking the development of modern tie dyeing industry as the background and modern tie dyeing art products as the main research object, this paper studies the formation reasons, cultural characteristics, aesthetic style, characteristic elements and artistic forms of modern tie dyeing. Through a series of experiments, this paper puts forward a method which can be used for digital characterization of modern tie dyeing pattern features. This paper expounds the characteristics of integration, extensiveness and flexibility of modern tie dyeing process. For digital tie dye image, based on the feature extraction method, the effective region HSV three component mean value, the proportion of blank area and Tamura's roughness, contrast and directivity texture features are extracted in HSV color space to measure the quantitative features of modern tie dye pattern. The research results of this paper provide a certain reference for the research on the influence of traditional tie dyeing art on modern fiber art based on feature extraction.
