Abstract

Calcium leaching causes calcium ion diffusion and dissolution of the cement-based materials, resulting in the loss of cementitious and mechanical properties. To study the dissolution change law of the cement-stabilized base material, 6M ammonium chloride accelerated solution was employed to evaluate the change in calcium ion dissolution and porosity of materials with different gradation and fly ash contents. The permeability of cement-stabilized base material was obtained through theoretical calculations. The results show that for the same cement content, addition of fly ash was beneficial to retard the corrosion of cement-stabilized base material. However, with the increase in fly ash, the effect did not increase linearly and the best dosage was 20% fly ash. The increase in cement and fly ash content was conducive to the decrease in porosity.
