Abstract

Based on the traditional navigation and positioning of Loran-C system, this paper aims to study the feasibility of Loran-C positioning under the condition of receiving signal by magnetic vector antenna, through the azimuth estimation of signal source and the time difference information. In the traditional Loran-C positioning algorithm, at least one master station and two slave stations in the same station chain should be received. According to the measured TDOA information of the master station and the two slave stations respectively, there are two disadvantages of this positioning method: one is that when less than three navigation signals are received, only one TDOA information can be obtained and cannot be located; the other is that the TDOA information is scalar and derived The potential equation needs to satisfy the basic theorem of spherical triangle. When the point to be located is near the baseline extension line, the sum of the two sides of the triangle is not greater than the third side, so it is impossible to locate. On this basis, the magnetic vector receiving positioning model is proposed and the positioning equation is derived. Finally, the positioning is successful through the actual measurement.
