Study on the Protection and Reuse of the Red Brick Houses in Panzhihua Third-line Construction Architectural Heritage

Abstract

Panzhihua is a successful model and glorious epitome of the third-line construction, and it has left a large number of production-guaranteed civil buildings-"red brick houses" for the city today. The author analyzes the heritage value of the "red brick house" from multiple dimensions such as historical and cultural value, socio-economic value, and aesthetic and artistic value. Combining with the transformation and development of the Panzhihua Sunshine Health industry, the "red brick house" carries a special value carrier. Three aspects of protection, overall protection and reuse, and individual renewal according to local conditions are expounded, providing new ideas for the protection and reuse of architectural heritage.
