A Novel Dual Buck Inverter Based on Auxiliary Power Supply and Its Control Strategy
Abstract
In order to overcome the low efficiency of the traditional Dual-Buck Inverter (DBI) when it is used in low-voltage and high-current scenarios, a novel Dual-Buck Inverter based on auxiliary power supply and its control strategy are proposed. The power switches of the inverter work alternately in high frequency manner for half a cycle, and the analysis of its working modes shows that the control strategy can reduce the switching loss and magnetic component loss. By introducing an auxiliary power supply, the influence of the parasitic resistor of the output filter capacitor on the output voltage and output power can be eliminated. The PSIM simulation and prototype experiment results show that the new inverter and its control strategy can effectively reduce the loss and improve the efficiency of the whole system.
