Abstract

As the new normal of teaching, online teaching reform has entered a deeper stage, forcing educators to re-examine the function and value of online teaching and evaluate the effect of online teaching. Taking the online teaching of "Basic data science and Python Language" as an example, this paper analyzes the behavior rules of students visiting the course platform from the perspectives of month, day and hour based on the access data of students on the ‘Chaoxing’ platform, and analyzes the influence of different types of teaching activities on students’ learning effect. It is concluded that student’s learning behavior is roughly a bell structure, from adaptation in the first week, to a high enthusiasm for learning, and finally to waning enthusiasm for learning. At the same time, students' learning enthusiasm for a course will last for about 4 hours after the course is over. Therefore, the Q&A time from teachers' incentive plan can be selected during this period to improve students' learning effect. The research in this paper has reference significance for teaching reform.
