Abstract

For assessing thermodynamic property of binary mixture working fluids with R1336mzz(Z), the thermodynamic calculation of five these binary mixtures were studied based on the subcritical ORC system. Thus, four compositions for different mixtures was obtained by comparing net power output, thermal efficiency, EPC, and exergy efficiency. Results showed that overall performance for R1336mzz(Z)/R600a(0.65/0.35) was more excellent than other binary mixtures. Meanwhile, its maximum net power output and exergy efficiency could reach to 115.78kW and 55.16%, respectively. However, R1336mzz(Z)/R600a (0.75/0.25) had the minimum EPC with a value of 0.066 $/kW·h.
