Abstract

Establishing “Engineering with a big E” is one of the basic and key issues in the current training of compound and applied talents. The “Engineering Graphics” course is the first professional basic course that mechanical students come into contact with. However, in the context of large graphics and “Engineering with a big E”, there is still a certain gap between the teaching of domestic engineering graphics courses and the training objectives of mechanical compound applied talents. Orienting to the needs of regional industrial transformation and upgrading, centering on the training goals of mechanical compound application talents, and comparing with the graduation requirements of mechanical majors, the training of graphic expression ability, innovative consciousness, engineering quality and practical ability is the curriculum teaching goal. The educational concept of “Engineering with a big E” is actively integrated, the main line is taken as product design, design and manufacturing and interdisciplinary related curriculum content are integrated. the curriculum system of “Engineering Graphics” is reconstructed, and a systematic and comprehensive curriculum knowledge structure is proposed. Also, implement hierarchical is applied, online course construction based on small private online course (SPOC) platform is developed, and hybrid online-offline teaching models is explored.
